The Remembering - A Poem
I feel that I love you But how can that be true… We met just moments ago Something deep within is stirring, A cavern, held in a heart, Not felt before Home to an ancient stone yard, of long forgotten loss There, a tired Raven stirs Aching, beaten from grief Gently, a melody on the breeze, passes through him Caressing his feathers, Lighting his soul Softly, waking… from a sleep as old as time His ancient eyes blurry, His heart in disbelief Raising a weary head Toward a

And seals too - Wonderful 💚 It’s a beautiful walk to the island from the coast, and tides play a part in making it safely to the other side. While I was there, it got me thinking about how our healing journeys are often about our desire to get to the other side as quickly as possibl
